The concentration of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and IL-2 were determined.</p> <p><bold><italic>RESULTS:</italic> </bold>In the group with prolonged epidural analgesia with 0.2% ropivacaine solution, an adequate level of analgesia was achieved in 92% of the patients. The revealed changes in the blood serum levels of cytokines IL-6 and IL-2 may indicate a balanced response of the immune system in the group with prolonged epidural analgesia.</p> <p><bold><italic>CONCLUSIONS: </italic></bold>Prolonged epidural analgesia using disposable elastomeric pumps provides complete pain relief for patients and correction of individual links of the surgical stress response.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold><italic>Обоснование.</italic></bold> Послеоперационная боль является значимой проблемой для пациентов и может привести к различным осложнениям.</p> <p><bold><italic>Цель.</italic> </bold>Оценка эффективности и безопасности продлённой эпидуральной анальгезии с помощью одноразовых эластомерных помп у больных пожилого возраста в спинальной нейрохирургии в сравнении с традиционной методикой послеоперационного обезболивания была проведена у 80 пациентов.</p> <p><bold><italic>Материалы и методы.</italic></bold> В сопоставимых группах регистрировали параметры гемодинамики, оценивали эффективность обезболивания, характер послеоперационных осложнений. Определяли концентрацию интерлейкина-6 и интерлейкина-2.</p> <p><bold><italic>Результаты.</italic></bold> В группе с продлённой эпидуральной анальгезией 0,2% р-ром ропивакаина адекватный уровень анальгезии был достигнут у 92% больных.
