The issues regarding the effectiveness and safety of this technique are considered. The data on evidence-based medicine confirming the advisability of perioperative intravenous infusion of lidocaine are presented.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Статья является откликом на редакционную статью, опубликованную в февральском номере журнала «Anaesthesia» за 2021 г., в которой негативно оцениваются перспективы внутривенной инфузии лидокаина в качестве компонента послеоперационного обезболивания. Рассматриваются вопросы эффективности и безопасности данной методики.
