The situation that has been described in recent decades associated with the use of narcotic and not criminalized substances in international literature as the OPIOID + (plus) crisis.</p> <p>According to statistics, over the past few years, officially registered deaths from drug overdose have exceeded 70,000 in the United States. Leading causes were synthetic opioids, psychostimulants, and cocaine. This includes prescription opioids, opiates, benzodiazepines, and antidepressants. All aforementioned drugs are used in combination with each other, with alcohol or psychotropic marijuana.</p> <p>For humans, biological, social, and psychological factors are cause the initiation of psychoactive drugs.</p> <p>Due to the lack of a well-functioning medical care system for patients with chronic pain, doctors of all specialties treat pain.</p> <p>In this article, we consider the current situation with mind-altering drugs and apply the role of the anesthesiologist in reducing the growth rate of the opioid pandemic.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В современном мире количество людей, употребляющих различные психотропные препараты, увеличивается каждый день. Ситуация, которая развивается последние десятилетия в связи с употреблением наркотических и ещё не криминализованных веществ, описана в международной литературе как OPIOID+ crisis.</p> <p>По статистике в США последние несколько лет ежегодное количество официально зарегистрированных смертей от передозировки наркотиками превышает 70000. Лидирующие позиции на пьедестале причин смертности занимают синтетические опиоиды, психостимуляторы и кокаин. Сюда же можно отнести и рецептурные опиоиды, опиаты, бензодиазепины и антидепрессанты. Как правило, все перечисленные выше препараты употребляют в сочетании друг с другом, с алкоголем или психотропной коноплёй.</p> <p>Для большинства людей причиной начала употребления воздействующих на психику препаратов является боль, на формирование которой могут влиять биологические, социальные и психологические факторы.</p> <p>В связи с отсутствием отлаженной системы оказания медицинской помощи пациентам с хронической болью, лечить боль начинают врачи всех специальностей, не имея возможности взаимодействия друг с другом.</p> <p>В данной статье мы рассмотрим текущую ситуацию, связанную с употреблением изменяющих сознание препаратов, и попытаемся определить роль врача-анестезиолога-реаниматолога в снижении темпов роста опиоидной пандемии.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>pain</kwd><kwd>pain management</kwd><kwd>opioid pandemic</kwd><kwd>anesthesiologist</kwd><kwd>resuscitator</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>боль</kwd><kwd>лечение боли</kwd><kwd>опиоидная пандемия</kwd><kwd>врач-анестезиолог-реаниматолог</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Merlin MD.
