The authors consider the main pathophysiological aspects and clinical implications of surgical stress response. They perform comprehensive analysis of its correction including the role of various analgesic techniques. Special attention was paid to stress-limiting effect of neuroaxial anesthesia and analgesia including consideration of this effect mechanisms and means to enhance it.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В обзоре рассмотрены основные патофизиологические моменты и клинические последствия хирургического стресс-ответа. Проведен анализ существующих способов его коррекции, в том числе оценена роль различных методик обезболивания.
